We are able to create a wide range of designs for print. These may include logos, business stationary, marketing literature etc. We work closely with you to ensure that our design meets your requirements, and that the information you have specified is easy to identify, read and understand. We can create both text and graphic designs, each of which has its own unique values depending on who the target audience is. You are able to view a portfolio of our latest design work by clicking here. There you will be able to see the designs we have created for our clients and some information about who the client is and why we have decided to design the project in the way we have.
Website Design
We are also able to design websites to meet your needs. We can design websites up to around 50 pages in size. We specialise in creating more aesthetically pleasing websites with interactive functionality using HTML, PHP and SPRY/Javascript rather than database driven websites, which are often used for large commerce and library websites. Our website are suitable for a large majority of businesses and individuals who are looking to establish a presence online, and therefore are mainly looking for someone to design a basic website which explains what the company does and how to contact them. We are also able to host your website on your behalf meaning you don't have to worry about whether your website is functioning correctly or not. This is especially useful for people who are technophobe's, and would prefer others to look after their technological needs! Our website design process follows roughly the same pattern as our print design process, and this can be seen below. If you would like to see examples of our recent website design work, please take a look at our portfolio.
The Design Process
Here, we shall take you through the process we use to create your design
We receive your design brief - you contact us regarding the type of design you are after and what the final design is hoping to achieve
We analyse your design brief - when we receive your design brief, we will spend time analysing the key areas of the brief making sure that we understand exactly what you are after and what the key information is that you are trying to convey to your audience. We can also advise who you target audience should be and what that audience will be looking for when presented with a design. A classic example is the young adult audience, who are looking for something easy to read, easy to digest but, more importantly, interesting - in order to do this, graphics are a must.
The next stage of the design process is to provide the client with an assumed brief - this is what we hope to achieve from creating your design. This usually follows the outline of your brief, but will contain more detail and notes about how certain design elements will be achieved. The client shall then comment on the brief and ensure that they understand what we shall be creating for them, and talk through any further ideas they would like to incorporate into the design
We then get down to the actual design after working out your true needs. We hope to create around 3 sample designs which we feel outline the objective we have set to achieve (in the case of website designs, we shall design a couple of non-interactive concepts). We shall then send you these designs and discuss with you what each design sets to achieve. By the end of this process, we hope that you will have decided which design you like and which changes you would like to make.
Once we have analysed your feedback on the final designs, we shall set about designing your final design. When we have finished creating the design, we shall once again send it to you for a final review.
We shall make the small finishing touches you decided upon from the final review and then decide where to go next - Depending on whether we have designed a website or a print package for you, there are different options available. For print design packages we can either package the design along with all of its design components ready for you to print and use or we can prepare the design for print and print it on your behalf for an additional charge.
For websites, we shall then go one step further and arrange both website hosting and a domain name for you so that the world can access your website. We will, should you desire also maintain your website for a small fee each month, make any changes you require, ranging from text changes to new pages and new email address accounts etc.
Once you are happy that we have achieved your objective, we shall ask you to sign off the project and add your project to our portfolio for everyone to see.
